GIF Maker questions
How do I make a GIF from images?
Add PNG, JPG or static WebP files, put them in playback order and choose a frame delay. Click Create GIF, check the preview and download.
Can I convert PNG or JPG to GIF?
Yes. Combine multiple PNG or JPG images into one animated GIF. Different image sizes fit inside your chosen canvas without cropping.
Will transparency and photo quality be preserved?
Transparent areas become your chosen background colour. GIF uses up to 256 colours per frame, so photos and gradients may show colour banding. Original metadata and colour profiles are not copied.
What are the limits?
2–20 still images, 15 MB each, 100 MB total and 100 million source pixels. Each image can have up to 25 megapixels. Output is at most 1200 pixels per side and 20 million total frame pixels.
Can I edit an existing GIF?
Use GIF Speed Changer to adjust an existing animation, or GIF to Sprite Sheet to extract its frames. This GIF maker accepts still images.
