A few useful answers
Does changing speed reduce image quality?
No. Compressed frame images, palettes, transparency, disposal and loop settings are copied without re-encoding. Only timing changes; controls are added when missing.
Why can the result play at a slightly different speed?
GIF timing uses 10-millisecond units. Output delays are at least 20 milliseconds. Source delays below 20 milliseconds or missing delays use a 100-millisecond baseline. Browser and viewer timing can differ.
Does this remove metadata?
No. Comments and other extension data are retained. This is a timing editor, not a metadata removal tool.
What are the limits?
One GIF up to 10 MB, 300 frames, 4 megapixels per frame and 100 million source frame pixels. Choose 20% to 500% speed. Text-overlay blocks and reserved disposal modes are rejected.
Do my files leave my device?
No. Processing and downloads happen locally in this browser. Optional analytics receives only the tool name, never file contents or filenames.
