File bytes are processed in your browser. They aren’t uploaded to Formatixa or sent to a conversion service.

What happens to your files

When you choose files, the browser reads them into memory for processing. Downloads are created locally. Your originals are never changed. Clear the file list or close the page to release the working session. Formatixa does not intentionally store file contents or filenames in browser storage.

Website requests and measurement

Your browser still requests the website’s pages and software. A hosting provider may log standard request information, such as an IP address and requested page, according to its own configuration. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives page visits, general browser/device information and events for tool starts, completions, errors, cancellations and downloads. We send the tool name, never file contents, filenames, output names or error messages. Automatic form and download tracking is disabled. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits; advertising features are disabled. No Google analytics script loads before you accept. Declining does not affect the tools. Your choice is stored on this device for up to six months. Change or withdraw it using Analytics settings in the footer; withdrawal clears our Analytics cookies and stops future measurement, but does not erase data already received by Google. Our Analytics cookie expiry is six months. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

File limits

Each task accepts up to 20 files and 100 MB in total. Images are limited to 15 MB and 25 megapixels each, with a 150-megapixel batch limit. PDFs are limited to 25 MB each and 500 pages in total. Large or complex files can still exceed your device’s memory. If that happens, use a smaller batch.

Supported files and output

Image conversion supports static WebP, JPG/JPEG and PNG as indicated on each tool. Animated WebP and PNG are rejected. Browser decoding can change embedded color profiles and metadata. JPG is lossy and does not support transparency.

PDF merging copies pages into a new document. Password-protected, signed and interactive-form documents are rejected. Bookmarks, embedded attachments and document-level features are not guaranteed to transfer. This is not a PDF repair, security-sanitization or signature-verification service.

Keep a copy and check the result

Keep your originals and review output before relying on it. Browser memory, image format support and download behavior differ between devices. You can cancel an active conversion and start again with a smaller batch.
