How do I extract audio from MP4?
Choose a local MP4 video with an audio track, set the bitrate and click Convert to MP3. The video image is not included in the MP3.
Why does my MP4 not convert?
MP4 is a container, and audio codecs inside it vary. AAC audio is the main supported path. Videos without audio, protected files and unsupported codecs cannot be converted.
Can I choose an audio track?
This version uses the track selected by your browser. It does not offer a track selector or combine multiple audio tracks.
Can I convert a video link?
No. This tool accepts a file already on your device, not a website or streaming link.
What are the limits and quality settings?
One MP4 up to 50 MB and five minutes, with mono or stereo audio. Choose 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps. Output is 44.1 kHz MP3; encoding is lossy and does not copy tags, chapters or artwork.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Audio is decoded and encoded on your device. Keep your original and listen to the result before sharing.
