A few useful answers

Which properties can I edit?

Title, author, subject, keywords, creator and producer in the standard document information fields. Dates and custom properties are left unchanged.

What happens to XMP metadata?

Saving disconnects document-level XMP metadata so readers do not show conflicting old values. It does not rewrite XMP or promise to erase every metadata record from the file.

Does clearing the fields anonymize my PDF?

No. Dates, custom properties, annotations, attachments, page-level metadata and visible text may still identify people or software. This is a document-properties editor, not a privacy sanitization tool.

Do my files leave my device?

No. The PDF and signature are processed on your device. Optional analytics records the tool name, never your files, filenames or signature.
